| well I saw a game called robocode in which you program your robot's AI and send it into battle agains other robots. I was so intrigued I just had to start playing it, it looks like a lot of fun from a programmers point of view. Anyway I donloaded the "installer" and followed the instructions from here... http://robowiki.net/wiki/Robocode/Download now in the instructions it says type in the command prompt cd c:\robocode then type in robocode.bat so I do that and I get a java is not a supported command error. I recall something like this happening with another project before but why cant they just have a "normal" installer? and how do I deal with this installer. btw, I installed java again just to make sure and it didnt help so I am confused now... edit: I found it on the faq page but I dont know if it solved my problem yet, I am still following the directions. eidt: finally I got it to work. |
