| Ive read some of the topics on vista but I cannot seem to find an answer to this. My project updates not only support files but the main exe and support exes , so is there a way for a blitz app to have a built in persmission request ala manifest? so that I can install it anywhere.. I cannot simply install the binaries in program files and support files elsewhere because the updater will still need to rewrite over the old binaries. atm im installing in localapps\appdir so that users can play without permission conflict, but I know that wont work in the long run , it will annoy too many people to install in such an odd place. |
