Hi there anyone with a windows PC could help, can you download my mmjChallenge game and run it to see if the sound works for you, please?

Hi Arowx,

I tested the game on WinXp sp3 and got the following Windows error message:

The application or DLL D:\Games\mmjChallenge\OpenAL32.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation disk.

The game still ran but with no sound or music.

EDIT: BTW you might want to post the password in this thread. I had to go search your other thread for the password to run the demo.

Okay, The dll installed itself into my system32 directory as expected but it made no difference, I still got that error message.

I then copied it into the mmjchallenge directory and it got rid of the error message but the game still had no audio.

If you need, I'll be available for further testing for the next couple of hours.

OpenAL? That would explain why the sound didn't work when I tried the demo.

Now I have uploaded a new version that with my fingers crossed and the right majik inantations might just download, install and work!
