Does anyone know where to get free weather data (mostly radar)

The weather channel? :-)

It's been raining all day in Fareham, if that helps.

Here too...

Otherwise, places like the National Weather Service provide GIS services, where they make available data in formats such as KML, Shapefile, WMS and WFS.

I've a BlitzMax module which understands (ie. load/save/manipulate) the following GIS data formats :
AAIGrid, ADRG, AIG, AIRSAR, BLX, BMP, BSB, BT, CEOS, COASP, COSAR, CPG, DIMAP, DIPEx, DODS, DOQ1, DOQ2, DTED, ECW, EHdr, EIR, ELAS, ENVI, ERS, ESAT, FAST, FIT, FITS, FujiBAS, GENBIN, GEORASTER, GFF, GIF, GRIB, GMT, GRASS, GSAG, GSBG, GS7BG, GSC, GTiff, GXF, HDF4, HDF5, HFA, IDA, ILWIS, INGR, ISIS2, ISIS3, JAXAPALSAR, JDEM, JPEG, JPEG2000, JP2KAK, JP2ECW, JP2MrSID, L1B, LAN, LCP, Leveller, MEM, MFF, MFF2 (HKV), MrSID, MSG, MSGN, NDF, NITF, netCDF, OGDI, PAux, PCIDSK, PCRaster, PDS, PGCHIP, PNG, PNM, RIK, RMF, RPFTOC, RS2, RST, SAR_CEOS, SDE, SDTS, SGI, SRP, SRTMHGT, TERRAGEN, Terralib, TSX, USGSDEM, VRT, WCS, WMS, and XPM.

OK, thanks.
Why is everyone here always so serious.
The Weather Channel

When I wanted to make fire in a game I said

How would I make fire (besides rubbing 2 sticks together)

You shouldn't mistake seriousness for Gabriel's lacking in the humour department :-)
