http://www.browzar.com/

Looks ok and seems to offer alot of privacy features.

Wondering if anyones tried it.

Looks to me at a glance that it may be designed for "inapropriate" surfing ?

Well, it can be used for that although it does state anyone wishing to do anything illegal with browzar can forget it.

The only thing Borwzar keeps private are your browsing habits off your computer. E.g. if you went round a friends and wanted to check email or your ebay/paypal account then it stores no information on their PC.

I am always leary of any browser built off IE.

Well, that's my whole point of trying something different. IE8 is constantly restarting or closing itself. I know IE based browsers may do the same but just looking for another solution.

I've got Firefox installed now and am using that. I've got lots of addons (noscript - Adblock etc) and it seems to work fine so I'll use that for now.

Or you could just download firefox and install the developer plugin. You can disable the image cache and clear private info with one click.
