| Here I am, surfing through surfunblocked.com because both my IE and Opera won't open blitzbasic.com or blitzmax.com directly. Yesterday it was working fine, I was surfing here through IE and no problems at all. What happened? |

| Come on man, I'm serious about this. Yesterday it was working fine, now it isn't anymore. I'm sure if I install Firefox it won't do much good either. It's not about the browser, it's something else. |

| Possible reasons: 1) there may have been a glitch with the blitzbasic webserver or DNS server (I haven't noticed any problems, though) 2) there could have been an outage somewhere between your ISP and BRL's hosting provider 3) you could have some spyware on your PC that's screwing around with your DNS queries (new.net and the likes can cause problems for example) #2 can be worked around using a proxy, like you did. Just out of curiosity: were you able to resolve the IP address of the website? e.g. open a command prompt and type NSLOOKUP blitzbasic.com --> see any IP returned? and if you do, try PING blitzbasic.com --> See any response packets? |

| Chech your host file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\HOSTS |

| Try powering off your router, you may be on a dynamic IP, this will fix it permanently if you are. |

| Today it's working normally xlsior...curious. Perhaps it was problem #1. That NSLOOKUP command sure is interesting, I'll be using much more now. Thank you all for the help. |
