Hi, a few months ago orange went from a simple website creater (sitebuilder) to a more flash er, flash based version.

I can't see how I can provide a direct link to media e.g. pictures/audio files directly since I can't get the the magix website creator to tell me the url of any of the assets.

Is it possible to do this?

Is the page youview flash, or just the page maker?

Try view source.
Or use Tamper-Data (for FireFox) to monitor server requests.l

I'm not sure if it is all flash or just the pagemaker, I'll try a view source, thanks.

I think it is all flash, here's the front page, there is an mp3 player on the page and a link to the next page.

Is it possible to do this?

No. Orange ditched their original subscribers webspace for the godawful Fisher Price crap you mention, which does not allow external linking. Technically speaking, their old webspace didn't allow it either (in terms and conditions) but I used it for my sig and other linkage without complaint. :P

Solution: spend a few pounds and buy some shared hosting where you can externally link as much as you want. FWIW, I went with Z-Host which cost about a tenner for a year, I think. There are others, though.
