What's the best way of finding the best WiFi channel for your hardware? I can see eleven wireless networks from here so there's likely going to be some interference.

I found an app called WiFi Radar which is supposed to do this, but its for Linux only. I also tried NetStumbler but that didn't do sod all. It didn't like my hardware or something.

Any suggestions? Changing the channel to every possibility and restarting my router is a last resort option, as my router takes ages to restart.

In reality, 99% of the networks will be using the default channel, which is 6. Just try one of the channels that's a few away (e.g. 3 or 9). If you go all the way to the ends (1 or 11) you'll have a bigger chance of interference of the adjacent non-wifi bands.

My laptop can't even see my router if its on default channel 6. I put it on 2 but its dire. Its currently on 11 and better, but not great.

Actually, I don't like the look of the antenna on my router. Think I'll put a different one on.
