| If I buy a PC with 950Watt PSU, does it mean it will use all 950w at once? Or will it only use the required wattage that is necessary to run the computer e.g. if the whole system uses a maximum of 600w then a 950w PSU will only use that much power? |

| All the components will only draw the power they need. The 950 is simply the maximum output the PSU can supply. |
