Hi all,

1. Does the newest DirectX SDK not support for C#, only XNA do?
2. Is it free to join XNA?
3. Could we develop C# and XNA on pc?
4. Will DirectX be dead and only XNA remain?

I only found this post in MSDN mention about this:

Thanks in advance

Hi,

1.Yes, it never supported "unmanaged" directx anyway so we can say XNA is the much improved directx with it's own framework for C#

2.Yes (Well not the XNA Creators Club, it has a yearly payment I guess, but the XNA itself is free)

3.Yes

4.XNA is based on DirectX so if DX dies, XNA dies too. As Microsoft is working on the 11th version of DX, I don't think it's dying anytime soon.
