[SOLVED] How to properly export .X files?

Community Forums/General Help/[SOLVED] How to properly export .X files?

Trying to export X files and loading them to several 3d tools. The problem that I am encountering is loading the material textures.

I can manually load a single texture model, but when I used models with multiple textures, this becomes an issue.

I started to notice that there's a proper way of exporting X files because I got some free models where it seem to load properly (with multiple textures) but no idea what program it came or exported from.

EDIT: nvm, Milkshape does the job :)

Milkshape is pretty cool. I discovered recently .ms3d is one of the few relatively uncomplicated formats widely supported and containing boned animation, so I think it is worth writing an importer for it. Maybe one day. :)
