Dragging files onto an exe

Hi, I was organizing computer files today when I accidentally dragged a bunch of files of various types onto an exe, causing the program to try and run. It just brought up a small windowed program with some common error message, which I closed, but it worries me. Have I destroyed my computer?

It's possible.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

My computer seems fine, I'm just worried because running an exe that way is something I know almost nothing about, let alone what could happen because of the way I did it.

If the exe was a malicious program you may be in trouble. Otherwise youre fine.

That wont change anything if you keep the power cable plugged in.

It also might change results if the mesage was "very common" instead of just "common".

there is your fish: <')))><

Don't do that, you'll break everything!

Fish? Oh I get it, you mean f___ it s___ happens. Yeah, I could definitely use that attitude more often, I worry a lot about my files. So it's nothing? Okay, thanks for the help :)

All you've really done is run a program and pass the dropped filenames as parameters.

In all likelihood, whatever program you dropped then on simply tried to operate on each file in turn.

If the files haven't been destroyed, everything is probably fine!
