| I am not sure which plug will be fine for ATARI ST computer because there is two plugs.....one is 3AMP and other is 5AMP.... Which one? |

| Which one? there should be a sticker on the bottom of the atari itself stating how many amps it draws... Pretty sure that there are several different Atari ST versions, they may not all have the same requirements. the amperage is basically the amount of power that is made -available- to the device: a power supply that is rated 5amp will also work fine on equipment that needs 5, but also 4, 3 or 2 amp, provided of course that the voltage is correct. On the other hand, if you have a powersupply that outputs up to 3amp, a device that needs 5 won't work properly (or at all) So...all other things being equal, the 5amp supply should work for both 3amp and 5amp models. |
