AMD Laptop?

| A8 or A10 AMD Laptop but are they any good? I know people going to say why dont you intel i3 or i5 or i7. I do have i5 desktop but I am thinking of downgrading to the laptop AMD for change.... |

| Well if you want to downgrade you can be sure theAMD/VIA combo will be crappier so objective achieved I suppose . |

| Generally AMD will be cheaper, but intel's current generation CPU's are significantly faster -- check out cpubenchmark.net to compare individual processors. (Oh, by the way -- be aware that most of the mobile CPU's have less cores than their desktop equivalents, so you can't just go by the model name/number and Ghz to compare -- look at the actual benchmark scores. for example, the mobile i5 and i7 CPU's are all dual core, while the desktop i5 is quad-core, and the desktop i7 can have 4-6 cores) |
