okay, got a decent mobile at last. What games would you recommend? Any genre.

Delver if you want to test a new original way to control a fps without a mouse
Leviton racers if you like wipeout

Bought Shredder Chess and put MAME on there (obviously) :D I'll expect to be playing a fair bit of portable Raiden and Ghouls n Ghosts - on a train journey or something.

Thanks, I do like Wipeout, and Leviton is pretty good, but I don't think it's the type of game that works so well on a phone - swinging the phone about like a loony on tight corners :)

Anything more current?

You can also use buttons, no need to "swing the phone like a loony".

lol, but Wipeout needs analogue input really - not buttons.

Real Racing 3 looked awesome and very smooth...ruined by in-game purchases though. Uninstalled it.

Stopped playing games on my phone when the sound packed in - doesn't even ring anymore, just vibrates. :/ That's what you get for buying a cheap phone though, I guess...

lol I hear you, had a cheap phone for ages. I aim to develop for android so a good phone was required.

Bought Shredder Chess and Raiden Legacy so far (recommended). The MAME versions aren't so good.
