Blitz3D mouse touch screen error

| Trying to run Blitz3D on a win8 tablet but get mouse exec error every time whether the program refers to the mouse or not. Anyone know a work around for touch screen compliance, I know dev is stopped on Blitz3D but an update to make it touch screen compatible would be most welcome. Thanks DOG |

| FWIW: B3D has had a known issue the old XP tablets for many years as well, and for that the "fix" was to turn off pen/touchscreen support to get it to run. Given how long that problem has existed, I'd doubt a quick fix... |

| Thanks. Turning off the touchscreen is definitely not a consideration(though I DO appreciate your input) I took back the offending Tablet(Acer W3 8")and got 11.6" touchscreen netbook instead which also has a touchpad that functions as a mouse. I'll install Blitz in a bit and let you know if it works. I'm assuming it will in this case. EDIT: Of course it works. If easy enough to remedy with a patch it might make Blitz3D a more attractive choice for the mouseless...I think we'll be seeing more 8"/7" win8 tablets. DOG |
