As you may know, I am using avifil32.dll api for frame access in my editor SMK. Now, the thing is, it all works fine and frame-accurate, but sometimes it seems the requested frames are just not delivered, instead some zero return value indicates access failure. It happens in files of about 1.5 gb size, during the forth quarter. Codec was msmpeg4v3 and v2. Is that a common thing with avifil32 ? So far I thought, this api is rather reliable. But I'm rhinking about to kick this out completely and use native on-the-fly frame extraction from m2ts. Tho, extracting one Frame with ffmpeg takes a while.
