Looking at some of the 3D work in this forum, I feel like an amateur. But what the hell, here is one of the characters from my latest project:

Whoa, thats pretty awesome looking! What do you use for your model creatios?

Pengwin(Posted 2010) [#3]
I use Animation:Master from Hash Inc

I ought to say, before people try to work out how I use AM models in BlitzMax, I use pre-rendered sprites in my games, so I won't be importing them directly. I create the walk cycles, etc, render them out and create animation strips.

Looks cool :)

How is AM for modelling? Is there a demo of it? Cant find one on there site...

I take it AM outputs transparent pngs which you "glue" together to make your pre-rendered sprites?

Pengwin(Posted 2010) [#6]
AM is different to most modellers as it uses splines and patches rather than polygons.

I don't think there is a demo, I've been using it for about 7 years now and to my knowledge there has never been a demo, but there are other spline modellers available, have a look at JPatch: http://www.jpatch.com/

You're right about the output, I create transparent pngs and create the animation strips.
