Just another small compilation of Feature Tracked Footage. Used 3d Studio Max and Boujou to make this. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJuIVpiObBU Older stuff is there too! |

Really nice. If you played the 2nd part first I would have had a hard time spotting what you had inserted into the footage (other than the Jeep and obvious 3D ojects). Darth Vader looks like he belongs there Is the process time consuming? How about a tutorial? |
| ||
I wonder how automated the recognition of the image depth is.. or are you forced to give the compter hints about it? I got no idea.. ? |

Jim Brown - Time consuming at first. Getting your head around what it can and cant do is the real issue. Most footage can be used, but it helps if the footage is purpose shot for motion tracking. As for a tutorial, there are actually plenty around. Try Youtube. BeAnAge - Automatic tracking is the default setting of Boujou. Manual tracking is available by adding "target' tracks. This helps the process greatly. Most good 'tracks' are done with a mixture of both. Good reference points in you footage also helps. Thanks for the comments. |
