These are a few straight-up snapshots out of Happy Trees.

It's just a quick gimmik toy on the side, which I just couldn't leave be. This is end of day 2 and I think it has done its duty for now.

Moving on... :)
PS:It's completely 2d, by the way!

Wow, that's really cool!

Taron(Posted 2008) [#3]
Thanks, Warpy! I'm having too much fun with it...

I've added a glow and just optimized it a little, so here are some more pics. It's a dangerous tool, though, because it looks too cool to have a whole gallery of the results - eating up space on the HD, hehehe!

Ok last night I ran this and now youv'e got me worried by saying
It's just a quick "gimmik" toy on the side

The translation of that trogan was "gimmik". ;)

And for those who haven't looked in the Blitz Showcase section its here http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=82305

And I would have to agree with D4NM4N it would make a nice screen saver.

Nice work Taron.

Taron(Posted 2008) [#7]
Done! Actually, I mean...i just turned it into a screen saver and it's totally fun, hihihi... BUT I'm still having trouble with the laptop's mobile gfx board, hitting me with what looks like backbuffer troubles in OpenGL. I have no explanation for it... :{

HAHAHA, omg, such a beautiful word destroyed by a trojan? I love calling my nonsense "gimmik". 8P

...but ever since I have it running as a screen saver (since about an hour), it doesn't feel so gimmiky anymore. 8)
