This is the very early steps of my dwarf model. Just started today because of boredom, but I'm happy as I like the general look of the model. Will finish it in next couple of days.

I hope to achieve something better than Psionic's dwarf model.

Its comming on nicely.
The proportions look right, apply some smooth shading and lets see it without the tris :)

Sorry if you already know, but here is how to do it:

Try it on your aeries model too ;)

Nice base mesh send me the files :).
Think you might have problems rigging the shoulders if animating due to the closeness of the arm&torso. Adding a ring and pulling the arms out a little to give an armpit might work.?

You working towards doing a model pack?

I hate smooth shaded renders. I preffer the Blitz3D render when it's done. Thanks.

I'm just modelling this for fun. If it turns out to be a good model with all the textures and animation done, I may add 2-3 characters more and sell it. But as I said, I just love dwarves and doing this for fun.

Looks very much like a "The Thing" reference I've got from The Fantastic 4... Good though.

Thanks, I haven't used any reference images.
