| This idea just came to me. Lets do a competition of who can do the best drawing in Microsoft Paint! So here is the plan. Paint a picture that you have made purely using microsoft paint tools, and post it here. Lets see who can do best in paint. :) When we get the enough entries, ill choose best 3 or 4, and youll all vote on who you want to win. Sound like a good idea? Get Paintin! |

| edit,bothsuck,but.... I did this in less than a minute on my wacom tablet!  This I did over a year ago with just the mouse. It was originally a bmp, and when I converted it to jpg, it screwed it up.  |

| Ummm... I really hadnt thought of a prize... Any ideas? That one about chooseing the next idea is pretty good. EDIT: And yes, once we get a prize in mind, we will be voting. I think it has been a long enough entry time. |

| Sorry, i was gone for a few days. Im back though. So i hear there is some controversy about blitz3Dcoder being the only one in mspaint, is this true? So far z4go is winning, unless of course his is not done in mspaint. |

| No it wouldnt. Anything used in Paint.net is disqualified. Sorry everyone, but paint.net is much more advanced than simple MSPaint. Who used mspaint, and who didnt though? if z4go didnt, then he is winning. ... How do you tell? |

| I did not know what it was, so I looked it up and saw the site Gabriel saw. I was beginning to wonder if I was being stupid. |

| How do you tell? Well Z4go's image is clearly pixelled. You can see that it was drawn one pixel at a time. Same with Slotman's image. ShadowTurtle's image shows signs of being blurred, airbrushed and other things which paint doesn't have. It's not 100% conclusive, because you *could* pixel in Photoshop if you wanted to. But to my eye, every image except ShadowTurtle's ( and he admitted he used Paint .NET ) looks as though it *could* have been done in MSPaint. |

| from mintybreath: >> Sorry everyone, but paint.net is much more advanced than simple MSPaint. I used various sized pens (with activated antialias). The rest is makeable/solveable like in MSPaint. As use into the background there are selfmade rotated big stars wich are streched into different smaller stars. I think in MSPaint you must now redraw the Stars, occured from lost pixels (smaller scale). You see, this drawing in MSPaint should not going to be a problem (the only one is the lost of the antialias effect). Its only the method of drawing, nothing the software. Ok, software make it a lot faster, but there i was not realy in use new drawing-stuff like textured-pen etc. By the way... PAINT .NET is supported by Microsoft. It is also a official drawing software wich will soon available in Windows 7 (Windows Blackcomb, Windows Vienna) (*inside*). |

I can confidently say you ALL did better than i could, although that probably doesnt meen much. :) Ok, i guess the prize is, well we didnt decide on one.
