Messing about with some 3D fruit models, and yes they do spin.

I like it. The exagerrated viewing angle which makes the outer reels bulge towards the side of the screen really helps create depth in the image. Would be nice to see a 3D fruit machine game with dynamic 3d reels like this.

Looking nice. Those fruits need a little liquid droplet on them for ultimate juicy appearance.

nice

Thanks guys.

The Lemons have water droplets on them, just not in view in this screenshot. I'll see what i can do.

would like to see a demo, any chance?

aren't the bells only found on Bell machines (Bell the company). if this is a commercial release, maybe you should find out?

Cheers
Charlie

I don't think you can copyright a bell. Otherwise churches and that bloke with the funny back would be in trouble. And Bells' Scotch. Even the old Amsoft Fruit Machine had a bell in it.

LOL (;-)

I am imagining some motion blur on the reels?

Matt Vinyl(Posted 2009) [#11]
Looks good Yeshu! (As an aside, I think I've bumped into you on a fruit machine related forum, won't post details here, though of course.)

I'm working on my own machine at the moment, alas, not 3D, I'll upload some pics soon, it's coming along nicely!

Once again, lovely work! ;)

Awe man now I'm thirsty.

Nice reel though ;)

Hi,

Didn't realise this topic had been resurected!

Thanks for the comments, if people are still interested I'll knock up
a decent demo.

@Matt - be interested in seeing the pictures.

Nigel Brown(Posted 2009) [#14]
@Matt, me too. @Yeshu777 guess you have been a little busy to email?

Yeshu777(Posted 2009) [#15]
@Nigel : Doh!.. yes..

Nigel Brown(Posted 2009) [#16]
would still really like to see the 3D stuff in action :-(
