Word(ish) is a tile drop puzzle game based on the game of scrabble, it will contain one main game and three other mini games based on the engine.

Its currently at version 0.9.8 and hopefully, at the end of the week, I will have the majority of the code finished (Baring bug fixes) and then it will be just adding the extra media needed.

There are a few effects which you dont see in the screenies below, and combined with the music, it really makes it great to play, it coming along a treat.

I'm overjoyed about that, because you never really know what its going to turn out like when your slogging away! :)

Joypad support is provided, as well as the keyboard.

More news later, just want to know... whaddya think? ;)

Who was John Galt?(Posted 2007) [#3]
Looks very nice. Reminds me of Christopher Walken's acting.

Looks good. "Who found 1 words" isn't very good grammar for a word game, though. :)

Dammit, I knew I had to change something in the defaults (Replace 1 with 2)! :)

Glad you all like the look of it, as that's what has me on tender hooks constantly! :)

Me bad... its not 7 letters or less long so I'm screwed! :)

Lol I checked this out on SyntaxBomb...
Almost forgot there was a BB.com...
LOL

Hmm, is this Scrabble meets Connect 4, that type of idea?

Looks great. My only suggestion would be to get rid of those faded blocks in the third screenshot. They look messy, in my opinion.

Change it to word(s) and you could be forgiven ;)

Dabz(Posted 2007) [#14]
lol, it was meant to be 'Who found 2 words', but for some reason, I had '1' in the default highscores!?!

me bad.
