I’ve only been learning for a month >.< So here is the best alternative I can offer, a synth guitar…feel that screaming lead! Can you tell the difference? | I like your harmony (you may remember I used "fenland dawn" as intro music for a movie I made some time ago). But it isn't really a typical Guitar solo IMHO. You'd rather add some fast paganini caprices or something (hehe). But there's hope, got some lessons for all you upcoming guitar heros... Talking guitar solo: http://www.yngwie.org/Lessons.htm There isn't much that impresses me, guitarwise, but he definitely does. You may recoginze the parts this guy stole from me ;) Other than Satriani, Vai and Co who mostly use Pentatonic, Mixolydic and lydic harmonies, Malmsteen is using a lot of "reduced manor" (not sure if this is the right term in english), which I like a lot. |

| Cheater! :) But it sounds good, nice harmonies. Has some kind of eighties style. Flog of Seaguls comes in my mind when I here this. |
