Some screenies of our new game which just came rolling out of Gile[s]. |
| ||
Looks really interesting! I'm guessing 20,000 leagues from the last 2 shots. |
| ||
doesnt 3D World Studio include the Gile[s] engine? b.t.w. its really awesome! |
| ||
I love the first one. The textures and render make it almost look real. The edge of the bear's right front paw looks like it wasn't mapped quite right though. What did you model it in? |
| ||
Fab! I like the 'steam-punk' style of the 2nd and 3rd images!!! What type of game? |
| ||
The rooms where modelled in Silo ( http://www.nevercenter.com ), texturing was done with Unwrap3d ( http://www.unwrap3d.com ) and the lightmapping with Gile[s] ( http://www.frecle.net ). All three products are stellar. Most of the textures are handpainted. Where making an erotic game. |
| ||
I'm looking at that 'contraption' in a whole new light now. Go go gadget.... erm |
| ||
@Nomen: The 'contraption' is for hoisting, padding and tickling. Nothing overly disturbing. |
| ||
I really like the top screenshot, and I like the style of the others too, but I think that the painted pipe textures on the walls of the "steam-punk" scene actually draws one's attention to the lack of geometry in the scene. Know what I mean? If I were you I would remove the painted pipes from the wall textures and overlay them with some simple low-poly 3d pipes. Other than that, good work! |
| ||
sorry to point out, but I'm quite sure there were other comments about the type of game...deleted by admin or by some bugs? |
| ||
yes, they have been removed. not many people like the truth about certain cases as it is to confronting or offending. |
| ||
Gobbo, they were deleted for a reason. Please stop posting your opinions about how erotic games are offending. Now on topic, I would use 3D models instead of painted on pipes as well. They do look very nice overall though. Love the graphics. :D That lodge place looks spectacular. Keep up the great work. :) |

Almost sorry to bump... but the bear does look quite impressive to say the least, nice work. |
