I have created another airplane/ship[edit-screenshot changed]:
http://www.bmaxbook.com/Warbird-b3d_model.zip

Please feel free to use/transmogrify the model and associated images ( open/free/etc...)

this one has 2 surfaces (ship body and a separate transparent surface for the windscreen)

comments welcome (I know the textures could use a little work)

thanks.

Looks good, original. reminds me a bit of the yellow-submarine :) .

I'm having difficulty comprehending the scene.

Its of models that someone has done themselves. I agree A concept you would find difficult. jajajajaja

Mind you, it does look like the emperial yaught from flash gordon

I thought it was a toadstool at first - probably because of the texture and what appears to be a stalk ;)
It's actually a very nice, stylistic little plane - a close up shot from a different angle would show it off better.

Ricky, duly noted (just changed the screenshot) thanks for the feedback.

Nice little dinky ship :)

Before entering the thread I expected to see a Romulan Warbird.. Oh for a decent Star Trek game.

Can you post the original UV map, so I (and other I think) can create a new texture for the warbird? Of course it will be public...

bradford6(Posted 2007) [#9]
Degac,
I do not have the original UV Map template but if you import the model into Unwrap3D you will see the UV Map and can create your own.
edit: I just did that and here is what i came up with:

Honestly, If you were to create a new texture, you might as well
a. just paint on the original texture or
b. unwrap the model yourself (this was one of my first and I did kind of a poor job)

Thank you very much!
