Here's a dragon I'm working on, this one will be withouth the wings. I'm thinking strong muscular dragon but no wings as you see...

maximo(Posted 2006) [#5]
otprilike 2000-2500 not sure right now ;)

big10p(Posted 2006) [#6]
I'm liking the look of this.

I also like how the render makes it look like it's modelled in clay. Harry Housen! :)

If I get my wish thru, you'll all get chance to own one of these and many others I'm cooking up in my kitchen ;)

I'll try to bet Mark to 3dsMax release or sync it with release since these will be perfect for next gen games/demos...

Naughty Alien(Posted 2006) [#8]
LOL maximo ;)

maximo(Posted 2006) [#9]
did you watch the eurovision, we almost won!! ;)

Naughty Alien(Posted 2006) [#10]
hehe..yeaaa...even I dont like him at all.. :) but here in Asia, he sounds pretty good (not to me but for some asian folks yes), but 3rd position is still okay :)

big10p(Posted 2006) [#11]
Where did the UK come? We usually come last coz the rest of Europe hates us. lol. :)

Naughty Alien(Posted 2006) [#12]
..I dont hate you guys...:)

big10p(Posted 2006) [#13]
/me hugs Naughty Alien

maximo(Posted 2006) [#14]
I love British humor, especially Basil Faulty stuff you brits produced ;)

I can imagine that Asians like our singer, imagine if they had right to vote, we would have won! :)

Btw how is your bosnian, can you understand everything or just parts of it? :)

Naughty Alien(Posted 2006) [#15]
well..I understand it without problems even I use to live all time outside of country and europe itself..I have just funny accent :) hehe

maximo(Posted 2006) [#16]
hehe, I can imagine ;)

Kalisme(Posted 2006) [#17]
wow, nice model... I'd really like to see this textured and smooth-shaded...
I think you could even maybe run this through a poly reduction tool (but I wouldn't expect to take much away)

Blitzplotter(Posted 2006) [#18]
looks very well structured.... pleasing to th eye.

maximo(Posted 2006) [#19]
yeah I don't like to torture the eyes, like some users on these forums like to do, no names though ;)

Looks great. we know you're an excellent character and creature modeler. The anatomy makes sense, balance etc.

Probably needs some back or ear ridges.

maximo(Posted 2006) [#21]
I'll post some more screenshots when I'm done, thanks for feedback guys :)

Genexi2(Posted 2006) [#22]
Love the foot-work in the hind legs, you got the digitigrade look just right, I take it the tail is roughly the same length as the neck to keep the head in balance?

maximo(Posted 2006) [#23]
yes tail is even a bit longer then the neck, it all makes sense and balance, I don't like to create things that seem out of balance and distorted proportions :)

Oleg(Posted 2006) [#24]
Looking very realistic, great work! The whole seems very well integrated.

Thanks, I'll do some more work on it, it's not done yet :)

bradford6(Posted 2006) [#26]
very nice model.

Ryan Burnside(Posted 2006) [#27]
I really like him
Apatosaurus+Raptor=Dragon????

maximo(Posted 2006) [#28]
yeah, hehe you are right it looks a bit like some dragon-dinosaur mix because the head is not finished and it reminds of dino head:)

Ryan Burnside(Posted 2006) [#29]
I would like one as a pet, I would train it to eat poodles. Like the kind that have painted red nails and live under grandma's couch. With the yellow teeth and bark and bite small children.
