I have a dragon in 3dsmax and i have exported it through the 3dsb3d pipeline and for some reason i am finding that the bones are animating perfectly but the mesh of the dragon isnt... Anyone found this before. I have had this problem before but i cant remember how i fixed it. I am useing physeque not skin in 3ds so maybe that is a reason it isnt working? |

The suggestion i got last time i had a similar problem is use findchild() to get a handle on the animated mesh and then ask it to animate... However this time when i tried it, it came up saying that the entity had no animation in it. Hmmmmmm perplexing... |

Ok no worries i have found out that the pipeline doesnt support physeque. So does anyone know how i can export my animated dragon from max? |

I think that maybe the SMD exporter supports it, IPete2. |

it only supports the skin modifier. physique is outdated and rarely used anyway. biped and skin is the way to go |
