Made this for my game, tossing it up on The3DStudio as soon as I can actually create products there (currently I just get a nice friendly error <- oxymoron).

Yeah, unfortunately I have to protect my work somehow.

This looks good, Noel, but can I be picky about your description on The3DStudio? :)

You say it has a pentagram (5-pointed star) on it but it actually has a Star of David (6-pointed).

Nevertheless, are either symbols appropriate to be featured on a Christian gravestone? Just a thought.

Doesn't matter to me -_-

big10p(Posted 2005) [#6]
OK then. :)

No doubt who's burried there. But hey, pretty high poly is it. Not many dead peole in your game right? Other than that, looks nice.

pretty high poly is it

Sure was, back in 2001.

A man has to set his priorities these days :P

Bouncer(Posted 2005) [#10]
And you sell THIS for more than 17$... where's this world going to...

OJay(Posted 2005) [#11]
well, at least cheaper than a real one, isn't it? ;>

John Blackledge(Posted 2005) [#12]
Yeah, come on - a Star of David on a Christian tomb stone. That's just silly and showing your ignorance.

And $17.50?? For one? Huh?

Banshee(Posted 2005) [#13]
Model pricing is a moot point. If people think the model is worth that much too them (in terms of quality and the time it would take them to make) then they'll buy it. I'd be suprised if anyone does - no offense intended - but who am I to judge?

If i'd knocked up a entire graveyard I wouldn't be asking that much for it, but then again it might not be to the same standard (although it almost certainly wouldn't have a star of David on a crossed tombstone but i'm hardly a graveyard specialist and might make other errors, I try to avoid those places as it goes).

Ruz(Posted 2005) [#14]
looks good, though you made a 'grave' error with the star thing he he

Rob Farley(Posted 2005) [#15]
You're just 'digging in the dirt' for comments like that Ruz.

Quite frankly the model isn't that exciting but as usual with the Noodle the texture is great, regardless of cross / star stuff. Hey who knows, maybe the idea is that it's got a star of David on it to make is stand out as a clue in a game... or something... eh!

Booticus(Posted 2005) [#16]
Nice Noel! I do like the styling of the cross. Better than anything I can do. The celtic look is very neat. Mazeltov on the star also!
