I just modeled this today, and a friend did the textures. It's a keypad for the supposed community project "Operation 600." Screenshot Download Download Keypad - in MS3D and 3DS formats. Please tell me what you think. |

Link doesn't work. How many polygons (triangles) does it contain? |
| ||
Opto, your link is wrong. It's: http://www.noenemeis.com/downloads/art/keypad.zip And should be: http://www.noenemies.com/downloads/art/keypad.zip |
| ||
OK. Tris - ummm....well, I'll figure that out.... |
| ||
So....what about the design? You like it? |
| ||
It's noting very special, but it may be pretty useful for an elevator or something. The quality is ok if it doesn't use more Tris than neccessary (about 40). For a first model it's a good job. Of course this kind of shape isn't one of the hard things to model. What did you use, Milkshape? if so, here are some tutorials: http://www.robsite.de/tutorials.php?tut=milkshape |

Thanks, a lot! Yeah, I know it's not that great, but, you know, I'm NOT an artist. I never have been - I'm a better designer, programmer, and leader. I've never been that great at art. But I'm really excited - I now know the power of textures. |

It's a long way to the top - if you wanna 3D Art. |
| ||
I like that website - but I can't read German :) Thanks for the link, though. [EDIT]Translated it through Google. |
| ||
Half of the tutorials are in english (see flag icons). |
| ||
Yes, I saw them. Thank you for the link, yet again. I've never heard of that site. Google is my best friend. |
| ||
Most of the stuff the guy offers on his page is tested and proofed to be top class. He really has got a lot of decent links, tho basicly it's a german site, of course. |

Yeah. Well, what should I add to the model? |
