Due to popular demand :), i have put some more music for you guys to listen to and review.

Again this music is copyright to me and none may be used without my permission.

If anyone is interested i will write music specifficly for your requirements.

Let me know what you think of these anyway:

1. http://www.extremecad.co.nz/DJ_ICECAP-MaoriSong.mp3 - Maori Song - I created this piece for my project at the moment. It features REAL guitars and has quite a livley sort of tune.

2. http://www.extremecad.co.nz/DJ_ICECAP-Nicola'sSong.mp3 - Nicola's Song - This piece of music i wrote for a very special friend, who means the world to me, so i needed something special. I think i pulled it off quite nicely. Its kinda of a pop, light rock mix.

3. http://www.extremecad.co.nz/DJ_ICECAP-Rock&Melody.mp3 - Rock & Melody - I dont really know what made me write this, its very similar to (2) but has a different tune.

4. http://www.extremecad.co.nz/DJ_ICECAP-StringsMelody.mp3 - And finally, i wrote this piece for a shortfilm i was making, i never got round to using it because i wrote so many pieces i kind of lost this one.

Please let me know what you think.
Positive criticism welcome. :)

Icecap: your server seems to be dead :(

Il keep an eye on this for when you fix! I always enjoy listening to Fruityloop music because even if its done totally different- you can still sometimes just "know" its made by it :D

That's pretty good, congrats. Good to see there is still some real guitar around. Rock&Melody reminds me of David Bowies "Heros". Darn, it's some years ago when we heared rock ballades in the charts the last time right? scorpions with "wind of chanche" and things like that.

ICECAP(Posted 2004) [#9]
Sheesh, now you are going back jfk... I find is so enjoyable to write music with an actual tune, unlike some of the crap produced PROFESSIONALLY toaday.

Just send me an email if you guys ever want anything written for ya!

unlike some of the crap produced PROFESSIONALLY toaday.

yeah... totally. and i know people who actually like that crap... and i always like to give them wierd looks.... and then laugh at them ^.^

Why's that first one called MaoriSong? Isn't most Maori music monotone? The few that aren't are the ones I learnt in school like Pokarekare Ana which were written through western influence..

[edit]Oh, but that's not a critcism.. very nice music. :) I especially like the StringsMelody. :D

The reason it is called maori music, is because i wrote it as backing music for a maori simulation I have created.

I really like the first one...
