WIP skin for a gargoyle model (that I didn't make, so for god's sake do not ask about the model polycount or how it was made). Don't know if I'll finish it, but I like the style it has and it reminds me of Quake 3's skins (which are still some of the most well-done skins I've seen).

Nice one Noel.

Colors on the chest obviously aren't in sync with the head, but then I made the chest in about 15 minutes. Nothing is final.

bit of Aloe Vera ointment would clear that right up

very nice job, so far. Doom 3 did impress you, right? Well, it IS impressive, esp. the char design.

How about you check his thread? ;)

Noel, what do you use for texturing and unwraping?

I'm very narrow minded as I use 3d max exclusively , but now I think I might try other tools as well just to see if they are more usable.

3D Studio Max, Silo (future tool-to-be-used; only have a few days left on its trial version, then I guess I'll buy it since it's definitely worth the money apparently), and Wings 3D. Texturing is Photoshop 7 only, I wouldn't use anything else.
