Not bad at all...you certainly can do the 3D modeling thing much better then I :P

Here is my portfolio of sorts:

It's mostly robots/mecha design drawings from at least 3 years ago :P
some years ago I made some inroads into concept design for film...didn't get very far as my heavy Japanese anime influce was considered too radical at the time...now it's too common :P

nice, what mediums used MSW?

Braincell(Posted 2004) [#4]
I think he used a photon-o-matic texel shaders there with a stencil pencil scripting machine, also known as a piece of wood containing another piece of lead inside or some other crayonic material of vertice-shading compounds to produce such renders where bi-polar-smudge-shaders are visible (as he licked his finger) to produce this effect...

Medium? erm...pencil, ink, marker, and some CG coloring (with the mouse, twas long before I got my Watcom tablet :D )

I can draw and sculpt clay fairly well I suppose...but I'm finding that 3D modeling in the computer is realy damn hard :(

The tutorials that come with max 6 are pretty good. And there is also a wealth of good 3d tuts on places like 3dbuzz.com and more.

Once you learn poly-modeling its just like sculpting! You just have to have that mindset to know where each polygon is in XYZ space because you cannot see it and touch it. It's pretty fun!

There are some nice tutorials on www.3dtotal.com and you can also check out their galleries, you will be blown AWAY!!!
