Not just out of focus, but badly washed out. I recommend you boost the contrast and saturation of the texture image.

looks great, the first one i mean. just make it a bit darker. If only all texture would be so easy to make, right? :) ( http://www.diggerhistory.info/images/weapons-recent/vickers-boxed-ammo.jpg? ) yes, it looks pretty blurred, but who cares, considering that the box will almost never be so big onscreen.
