He's bad and b3d. Modelled and textured from scratch to the tune of 1,600 polys.

nice :) Does he come with a range of accessories?

Awesome skelly btw lowcost.

QuickSilva(Posted 2004) [#8]
Great work! Hope your going to create a whole army ala Jason and the Argonaughts. Great film with a great name too :)

Jason.

CyberHeater(Posted 2004) [#9]
I'd love to see it animated.

Actually. I'd love to see it start pulling itself out of the dirt with a sword and shield and start attacking me.

Go for it. Recreate the Jason and the Argonauts scene :)

Don't tempt me! you know I want to :)

Skitchy(Posted 2004) [#11]
V nice :)

Foppy(Posted 2004) [#12]
Nice. Perhaps the neck could be shorter, lowering the head.

skn3(Posted 2004) [#13]
haha nice. He (it) looks too happy though. Look at that large grin on the face :) )

Red Ocktober(Posted 2004) [#14]

Very nice, and only 1600 polys!?

Did you have a nightmare getting everything in the right proportion? I know I did when trying to model a correctly proportioned human. :/

JoshK(Posted 2004) [#16]
The neck's rather long, and the place where the spine merges with the pelvis doesn't look finished. Other than that, it looks great.

Rob(Posted 2004) [#17]
thanks for the feedback guys. I fiddled with him a little and made some ragdoll. I figure I can export right into tokamak.

Awesome model, but I would say the texture is too much of a stark greyscale. Since you are going for a realistic look I would yellow the colour a bit and make the dirt "antiquing" a bit brownish.

Other than that (and perhaps the neck length) great job!

Steve Elliott(Posted 2004) [#19]
Very nice!

Well either a Jason and the Argonauts or Golden Axe? ;-)

What modeller did you use?

Rob(Posted 2004) [#20]
Thanks lads! I did him in max, and the texture in photoshop. I've sinced fixed his proportions too.

N(Posted 2004) [#21]
Nice job, hands look a little odd though. I really like the legs.

Caff(Posted 2004) [#22]
Nice work.
