| I haven't posted any updates in awhile but I've been steadily revamping my assets for my upcoming game. Right now most of the models are untextured except for the terrain. In this shot bellow I'm aiming for a more retro look. Think of Mechwarrior 2 meets Exo-squad. I plan to experiment a bit more with the idea of a FPS/RTS concept. Eventually I will make proper post that will detail every aspect of my game idea. It will blend elements from my favorite science fiction and PC games such as Battlezone 2 which was a big motivator in getting me involved in the the art of game design. I grew up watching the shows like Battletech and playing Mechwarrior (later Earthsiege even more) a lot on my Windows 95 desktop. Although Exosquad was favorite show of that era. | More random stuff I made. My creative juices are really unleashed when listening to Joy Division and Alan Parons project and other good music. Giger is also a huge inspiration for me if its not obvious. So far I have about 7 near complete creature designs. Textures and animations are still a way off though but boy can modeling suck away time! For some reason I had the idea to turn this into a Album cover:  Giger-ish:  |
