Blender 3D beginner video tutorials gone?

Hello, are the official Blender video tutorials available anywhere as they seem to have removed the link on the official site. Written ones still seem to be up though.

I`m speaking of the how to learn the basic interface one (there were about five I think.) I assume that they have taken them down as they are not relevant to the latest version but I want to learn the older version. I could not find them on You Tube but am hopeful that they are still available somewhere.

They were probably removed as they weren't relevant to even 2.49b. Try this one which uses 2.49b, the current stable release before the 2.5 versions.

AFAIR, those tutorials weren't much cop anyway.

For the benefit of anyone coming to this thread later...

The blender.org tutorials section has recently been spruced up, hence the mysterious disappearance, and actually links to some useful tutorials now...Hoorar.
