| I programmed a while back a 2D tile Mapping Program, not with blitz, but it could help with your mapping needs. It uses small tiles, BIG tiles,and Hex tiles. I hosted it in yahoo groups, sorry you have to join yahoo http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/freewaregamestools/ The program is compatable with many tileing prgrams Dungeon crafter and many RPG games, the tiles are 20x20 pixels 40x40pixeles and hexes, if for example you get hold of 32x32pixel tiles , just open in paint and stretch 125% if you get 16x16pixels just open in paint and stretch 125% you can fit many tiles like this its freeware! I bet it would be better done in blitz if Im posting in the wrong place feel free to delete. |
