Audacity and Vista not working

I use Audacity for all of my Blitz related sound needs but since using it on Vista the program will not even work.

Anyone else using it successfully? I`ve tried running in compatability mode but no luck. I`m using version 1.26, maybe the later, beta version may work.

There is a wiki just for Audacity in vista, don't know if its much help.
