Hello Guys

What would be the easiest and working way to import animated (with bones), and textured into 3DS Max 9 and the export it to Adobe Director 11 to show them in my web page as an animated/textured models in Shockwave- 3D (w3d) file format.
My problem is that even that models works fine both in Milshape & Ultimate Unwrapand in Blitz3d, the animation does not come correctly if I import it using Ultimate Unrap's import plugin into MDS MAX 9. The animation look's like partially ok., but for example legs are stetched in some funny way etc...
Any hint for this, I did try at least 10 different 3DS Max import plugins without success...

Eki,

Some people are using Director to do this so it must be possible. The fastest way would be to go on shockwave .com and find out who is creating/developing models this way and ask them to give advise directly.

The alternative is go here: http://forum.unity3d.com/, go to the forum, and post in the gossip thread - asking for help. Maybe someone there can help, there are a lot of ex Director users. There's even one guy who has made tutorials for moving over to theis other product from Director.

IPete2.

Thanks, but looks like the link is dead, but I just would to put some "walk through" scenes into my web page just for fun.

I think there should be some "common" plugin or script or whatsoever to do this without buying Director & 3DS max or some big investments for this, I feel this should be a common problem, maybe it's not...
