From Quark To Something Useful?

I'm trying to find a way to convert some old Torque Map files to something vaguely useable. I found a program called Map23DS, but it doesn't work. So I tried loading them into Quark, and with a little fiddling, that does work. But Quark doesn't export to any model format, just the Quark format. So this is as far as I've got, and I'd love some ideas about how to get further from here.

I just want to get it into a geometric model format so I can work with it in 3dsMax. So any standard model format will do, and ideally keeping as much information as possible.

Oh, and I tried Torque Constructor's LWO export function too, but it generates completely unreadable LWO files, so that's no use.
