Well I guess I'll dedicate this thread to just Md2 models.

I now have even tried Blender, execellent program, and it took me 6 days of reading tutorials, looking up info and reading up on its use and I made a model, rigged it and animated it. I exported it to md2 and loaded it into blitz3d and I still get the flickering faces.

So far I tried making the model in Max, Milkshape and Blender and I get the same flickering face result from each of them.

Does anyone know of a successful routine for making md2 models? What programs they use to make it?

Heres my blend file that I used if anyone would like to take a look at it and see if there is something wrong.

Here is a comparison of JFKs shadow system md2 model and the current one I made in blender...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ben(t), I tried using Quark and Quake 2 modeler to edit MD2 files made by Milkshape, Blender and 3dsmax but still doesnt fix the flickering.

Ardee gives a pretty good explanation of whats happening in my other md2 post here...

thanks for the input.

I will probably try to stick with b3d, but not sure if it will cost me too much. I am going to complete my game then go through the model format problem at the end.
