http://www.blacksmith3d.com/ Comes with a freeware version of 3D Paint that works great on obj files. Model in Wings,save as obj, import into BlackSmith 3Dpaint ,paint, export back to obj file,load in Wings, save-as 3ds file and your object will load in Blitz painted. Works for me. Thought you might like to know. Dog (What would Dog Do?)

Even though is costs, 3D-Brush gets my vote ;)
