Is there a modelling app that allows you to import b3d models as well as export without losing animation?

If not, what's the best way to convert from b3d to another format, edit it, then export back to b3d, again without losing animation?

Basically I have a b3d player model which I just need to tweak a little.

Ultimate Unwrap can import B3D format, I think.

Fragmotion is an excellent tool for .b3d models - if you wish to edit the animation you may find PaceMaker useful as well. For animation its a bit more intuitive than Fragmotion and also allows you to share animation between models, save individual sequences or skeletons and create idle or death scenes with a couple of mouse clicks.
I will be releasing the current version of PaceMaker for free shortly so it won't cost anything to try !
