I was really impressed with this, currently in beta form and free, it has some nice tools for creating and tweaking normal maps. Has a lot of features I havent seen elsewhere.

Hmm not this sophisticated but that's really cool in unity that you can just define normal maps and tweak them in a more limited way just with the import settings of a usual texture. Duplicate, maybe tweak, done...

Seems like a promising tool, but it's currently very buggy. I highly recommend backing up your normal map ( as I did ) before working on it, as the program has a habit of ignring the filename you choose to save under and instead overwriting the file you loaded.

If it doesn't run, you need 3.5 Beta 2 of the .Net Framework installed.

yeah, you can use the photoshop PSP filter from Nvidia to0. thats what I normaly use. The realtime tweaking in this tool with realtime display is really handy since art is kind of like cooking where being able to dip your finger and test the flavour makes a world of difference.

Wonder if they will charge for it on final release.
