Ok, so I have an 3D modeller friend who created an animated player model for me. He created the model in 3DS Max 9, which doesn't work with the BlitzMax pipeline thing so exported them as U3D. He sent me the max and unwrap files but when I run the animation in Unwrap the right arm and right leg are all floppy/bendy. It's clear that the bones on that side haven't exported properly...

Can you tell me how to fix it in Unwrap? Or what does he need to do in max so that it exports to u3d correctly?

I can upload the model files if it helps.

Thanks!

Oh, and another problem. When I run the anim the head shrinks slightly!

That guy scares the hell out of me. He got 2 elbows on each arm!

Cant help you with the problem though ...

Get the Pacemaker demo - try to reload the model, fix the vertices and weights and re-export.

I'll give it a try. Any idea why some bones exported upside down when they are fine in Max though?
