Samplitude 9se Problem

I just installed Samplitude 9se, found on the coverdisk of "KEYS", a local papermag.

When I record audio on a track then it works for the first time, but refuses to re-record on the same track, no matter if I try to "overwrite" an existing sample, or if I remove it first.

Recording controls suggest it is recording, but on the track nothing happens. Is this a bug or do I have to click a hidden checkbox somewhere? (tho - I was already searching the docs and GUIs)

Now that I used to fall in love with REAPER, I most likely gonna drop Samplitude, even if its retail price is 200$.
So nevermind.

Usually that happenins when you have the punch in / out active.

Thanks Ziggy. It happens in both modes, punch in/out as well as normal "onclick" recording mode. When I end Samplitude and then restart it then I can record again (only one time, as described)
