Diffuse Materials in 3DSM

I have a model I created in studio max that just has a diffuse color material on it. (It simulates cell shading). But for whatever reason the material settings don't carry over into blitz3d. I've tried it in both .x and .3ds formats, but no dice. Anyone have any ideas? I posted in the blitz3d forums, but people suggested this might be a better place for an answer. |

Hiya Kelso, What version of 3ds Max are you using? Try grabbig B3d pipeline http://www.onigirl.com/pipeline/index.html and use the material selections supported within that to add the colours, then export as a .b3d model. This is the best art pipeline from Max into B3d. To load into B3d simply change the load code in your .bb from .x or .3ds to .b3d. Hope this helps IPete2. |

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I'm running max8 btw. EDIT Hmm, after taking a look at the tools, it doesn't look like Blitz can support the effect I am looking for. Oh well. Thanks anyway. |
