Convert LWS to something useful?

I want to import LWS files into something for further editing. Preferably 3dsMax or Ultimate Unwrap. So far, I can only find an LWO importer for Ultimate Unwrap, which helps because I have a few of those too, but I still need something to deal with the scenes, the LWS's.

If it's animated objects then there's two choices I can suggest:

1) Convert to .X format using dstorm's free plugin
2) Use Lee's converter to B3D format

Then load the B3D or .X model in ultimate unwrap and convert to whatever format you need.

Thanks Dustin. I don't have Lightwave ( hence the problem ) and DStorm's plugin appears to be for lightwave, yeah? I wasn't sure if Lee's convertor required Lightwave or not, but I found the download link on the Specs and Utils page was broken anyway.

I'm hoping I can find something which doesn't require me to have Lightwave.

How much stuff do you have to convert? If it's not much I might be able to help with the LW side.

Thanks for the offer, but it's too much stuff to ask anyone else to do it. I'm sure I used to have something which would open LWS files. I thought it was a 3dsMax plugin, but I've scoured everywhere for one of those, so I'm probably mistaken.
